Community Foundation

A non-profit financial institution that manages over 140 funds that provide assistance to local nonprofit organizations within our community in the Endless Mountains region of Northeast PA.  Their funds continue to grow over time tax free, and the grants and scholarships from those funds continue to grow perpetually.

They also administer the Education Improvement Tax Credit program, which provides scholarship assistance to over 200 local children each year.  The EITC program allows local businesses to redirect their tax dollars to help education right here at home – often at very little to no out-of-pocket cost to the donor.

They are happy to explain how you can start your own fund, make a tax deductible donation to an existing fund, or participate in their EITC program.
